Maintenance Technician – Residential Building (Local 670 Union Position)The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of building systems in a residential property. This position is covered under the Local 670 union agreement and supports the overall condition, safety, and appearance of the building.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine and emergency maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and paintingMaintain and monitor building systems, equipment, and mechanical areasComplete apartment repairs and assist with unit turnovers as neededInspect common areas and address safety or maintenance issuesCoordinate with building management and outside vendorsComply with all Local 670 work rules, safety standards, and building proceduresQualifications:Member in good standing of Local 670 or ability to joinPrior residential building maintenance experience preferredWorking knowledge of building systems and toolsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting and on-call coverage as requiredSalary Range $50,000 - $60,000
