Overview
As a Pizza Restaurant Cook, you’ll prepare pizzas and other menu items with care, consistency, and a steady pace. You’ll follow recipes, use kitchen equipment safely, and keep your work area clean while coordinating with the team during meal service. Pay will also included a % of shared tips.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and meals, including pizza toppings and other menu items, using clean food handling skills and following established recipes and systems.
- Operate kitchen equipment and follow food safety, handling, and sanitizing procedures.
- Support food production, meal preparation, and menu planning while maintaining quality during busy service.
- Keep ingredients, tools, and work areas organized and ready for restaurant or catering service.
Qualifications
- Food preparation, cooking, food handling, and food safety knowledge are essential.
- Kitchen, restaurant, food service, food industry, or culinary experience is helpful; high-volume production experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with recipe adherence, food safety management, and kitchen equipment is preferred.
- Dietary aide or dietary department experience, fine dining experience, and catering experience are welcome.
- Experience with grilling, braising, poaching, and strong knife skills is an advantage.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
