Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during weekends and holiday shifts
• Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety
• Manage food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure consistency and compliance with health regulations
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
• Supervise inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
• Train new staff members on food safety protocols, customer service techniques, and operational procedures
• Oversee shift management duties including scheduling, supervising team performance, and resolving customer concerns promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management, with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience required
• Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or assistant manager roles in hospitality or food service environments
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and health regulations applicable to restaurant operations
• Excellent communication skills for managing teams, training staff, and engaging with customers effectively
• Ability to work weekends and holidays consistently; flexible schedule required
• Basic math skills for inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis
• Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or pizza restaurant settings is highly preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 55.0 per week
