Traditional Auto Body, a locally owned business since 1987 is currently hiring for a Collision Estimator. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Collision Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers needing collision repairs, responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing detailed estimates, and guiding clients through the repair process. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess extent of collision impact and mechanical issues.
- Prepare precise, detailed estimates using CCC One estimating software, ensuring all repairs are accounted for accurately.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines.
- Collaborate with technicians and shop managers to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work.
- Liaise with insurance adjusters to facilitate smooth claims processing and ensure proper documentation of damages.
- Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, repair orders, and client interactions for accountability and future reference.
Skills
- Proven experience in auto estimating software and collision repair processes.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of auto body repair techniques.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering a positive experience from initial contact through vehicle pickup.
We are willing to train the right person.
Pay is a base salary plus commissions based on gross sales.
Hours are M/W/F 8:00am - 5:00pm and T/TH 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
