We are currently seeking a Full-time Server at our Houston - Buffalo Speedway community. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely preparation of meals with a high-quality presentation. Prepare meals according to approved recipes and preparation guides. Assist with sanitation of the food service areas and the receiving and inventory of supplies and products. Maintains a safe, sanitary environment and follows regulatory guidelines. The Dining Room Server reports directly to our Director of Dining who oversees day to day operations of the community's Food & Beverage department.
Responsibilities...
- Contribute to our resident's fine dining experience by providing excellent customer services and managing high level tasks in a fine dining setting.
- Be able to style, quality and timeliness of meal service.
- Make sure to keep the kitchen and service areas clean.
- Meal presentation (appealing plate, entrée availability and timeliness of preparation).
- Guest relations, (resident/guest interaction, and communication).
- Keep food production records, temperature logs, cleaning schedules.
- Inventory control
Required...
- At least one year of experience cooking in a restaurant setting.
- Posses strong culinary skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant style service as related to meal preparation and service and timing.
- Ability read and follow recipes.
- Possesses sound organizational and time management skills.
- Possesses good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
