ABOUT THE CANDIDATE / ROLE Tradewind Aviation is looking for a seasonal part-time Ramp Assistant to be based in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible with work schedule and able to work weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties
- Monitor aircraft arrivals and departures.
- Resupply stock cart as needed.
- Restocking aircrafts with ice, coolers and snack baskets and light detailing upon aircraft arrivals.
- Assist pilots with moving luggage cart from reception area to ramp for loading.
- Assist pilots with loading and unloading passenger baggage.
- Help the concierge keep passenger catering area neat and stocked.
- Keep vacuum cleaners charged, contents emptied and available.
- Assist pilots with escorting passengers to FBO building, maintaining ramp awareness and personal / pax safety.
- Support crew meal deliveries by placing them into refrigerator.
- Assist pilots with other support requests when able.
- Support a strong safety-first culture by actively participating in safety and quality programs
- Report any hazards, near misses, or unusual occurrences to keep operations smooth and safe
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- A valid driver’s license and a strong sense of responsibility
- A courteous, respectful attitude and a reliable work ethic
- Direct line and ramp experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to work flexible hours — rain or shine
- Must be able to handle the demands of an active, on-the-move role
- A strong eye for quality and a natural focus on customer service
- The ability to stay cool, calm, and collected under pressure
- Someone who takes pride in doing things right, enjoys working outdoors·
- Ability to pass company background checks and meet airport background check requirements to receive and maintain an airport security badge.

- Strength to lift 75 lbs, and the ability to work in confined spaces.
