Seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our IT Team and support our growing data analytics, reporting, and development needs. This role will focus primarily on writing SQL queries, maintaining and developing SSRS reports, and assisting with ad hoc data requests across the organization. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
1) SQL Development & Data Work
a) Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries used for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
b) Assist with data quality checks, reconciliation efforts, and validation of business-critical datasets
2) Data Analysis & Reporting (Primary Need for Added Bandwidth)
a) Develop, modify, and maintain SSRS reports to support business needs
b) Handle ad hoc data requests from business stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
c) Troubleshoot and correct issues in existing reports, datasets, and data pipelines
d) Document report logic, data sources, and queries for maintainability
e) Support report modernization migration initiatives (eg, SSRS cleanup, redesign, or platform transitions)
f) Strengthen team capacity by taking ownership of recurring reporting tasks and helping reduce backlog
3) Application Development & Support
a) Write clean, scalable .NET code to support internal business applications, automated processes, and system integrations
b) Troubleshoot bugs, implement enhancements, and follow best-practice object-oriented design principles
c) Collaborate with other developers on shared project work, including code reviews and coordinated releases
Qualifications (Experience, Education, Licensure, Certification)
Required
· 1–3 years of experience in a data & reporting role
· Strong foundational SQL skills
· Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (SSMS)
· Experience building or modifying SSRS reports
· Understanding of relational database design
· Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
· Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively
Nice to Have
· Experience building and deploying SSIS packages, scheduled jobs
· Exposure to .NET (C# or VB.NET)
· Experience with Tableau or Power BI
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
