Tractor Shed Café & Farm Stand is a growing, locally owned breakfast and lunch café in Holderness, New Hampshire. We prepare fresh, scratch-made food, serve premium coffee and specialty beverages, and believe every guest deserves friendly, attentive service. We’re looking for team members who take pride in quality, enjoy working together, and appreciate the energy of a busy café.
What You'll Do
- Prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee, tea, chai, steamers, lemonade, affogato, and seasonal specialty beverages according to recipe.
- Ensure every beverage is prepared accurately, consistently, and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked beverage station throughout each shift.
- Monitor beverage inventory and notify management before items run low to help prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other beverage equipment.
- Coordinate beverage production with the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy service periods.
- Answer guest questions about coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and menu offerings.
- Assist with preparing bakery items and light food items as needed.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming guest areas throughout the café.
- Help resolve routine guest concerns professionally and involve management when appropriate.
- Support the Host/Cashier, Service Coordinator, and kitchen team wherever needed to ensure smooth café operations.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Contribute to an outstanding guest experience every day.
What We're Looking For
- Previous barista, coffee shop, or café experience is preferred but not required.
- Passion for preparing high-quality coffee and specialty beverages.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Weekend availability is required.
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
