Position Summary
Enbridge is seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist / Records Management Analyst to join our team in Superior, WI. This role provides critical support in drawing and document management for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring engineering drawings and process safety information are accurate, accessible, and compliant with company standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically proficient, and capable of independently managing document control processes within a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drawing Control & Management
- Resolve broken hybrid drawings by correcting x-reference issues in CAD files to restore usability.
- Update outdated renditions (PDFs) and ensure alignment with approved master drawings.
- Clean up legacy drawing discrepancies to improve data integrity and system reliability.
- Support as-built consolidation and publishing, ensuring final drawings are completed and available prior to project execution.
- Project & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate drawing requests via BIM JIRA and service request tools.
- Facilitate major project reviews, SME assessments, and drawing control audits.
- Track project review and turnover status throughout design, IFC, and as-built stages.
- Guide internal and external users in creating workspaces and project folders for effective drawing management.
- Training & Support
- Develop and deliver drawing system training for internal teams, vendors, and external service providers.
- Create work processes, procedures, and training materials to streamline access to process safety information.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and report key performance indicators to drive consistency and continuous improvement.
- Develop standard reports to support information requirements of drawing users.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or technical diploma, or equivalent combination of technical training and drawing control experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in document or records management, preferably in engineering or construction.
- Education or training in business analysis, records management, data analysis, or project management.
- Ability to translate process safety information requirements into systemized processes.
- Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Functional knowledge of drawing management systems; basic knowledge of EDMSLink, BIM-JIRA, MS Access, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic drafting skills and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint 2013 and Bluebeam.
Working Relationships
- Collaborate closely with Asset Information Management (AIM) team members for operational alignment.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders including project teams, vendors, and engineering service providers.
- Support Facility and Pipeline Drawings team members, Process Safety Information (PSI) team members, and Facility Records teams.
