HireArt is helping TRI hire a Senior Research Software Engineer - Human Behavior and Carbon Neutrality that will partner across disciplines to create new interactive prototypes and support human subjects research data collection. In this role, you will build custom web apps (front and back end) and the back end for mobile applications (iOS, Android), and will also support A/B testing and AI/ML model training and deployment. We're looking for someone with 5 years of software development experience in a research setting, including expertise in AWS, FastAPI, JavaScript, and Python. As a Senior Research Software Engineer - Human Behavior and Carbon Neutrality, you will:Work with scientists and engineers to design and build systems that support research goals.Assist research teams in developing their project's schedule.Iteratively develop user interfaces that showcase research concepts.Interface with other engineering teams at TRI to coordinate software development, utilize AWS infrastructure, and ensure software meets information security requirements.Manage your time across projects.Grow with other research software engineers on the HCAl team.
