HireArt is assisting Toyota Research Institute in hiring a Research Assistant to support the design, execution, and analysis of human-centered research studies.We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Research Assistant with experience conducting research studies and a strong foundation in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or a related field, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.As a Research Assistant, you will:Assist in designing, executing, and analyzing human-centered research studies using quantitative/qualitative methods.Work closely with research scientists to understand, refine, and implement study protocols, ensuring alignment with research objectives.Conduct experiments using driving simulators, prototype vehicles, and/or augmented reality systems.Develop experimental designs and create research materials, including visual, auditory, and interactive stimuli.Administer questionnaires, surveys, and interviews.Analyze and interpret quantitative/qualitative data to generate insights, recommendations, and reports.Manage behavioral datasets and experimentation platform accounts.Conduct literature reviews to synthesize existing research, identify gaps, and inform study design.Assist in drafting/editing research articles.Travel to race tracks as needed to support data collection and field studies.
