In this vital role, you will support the housekeeping department by maintaining pristine public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house spaces. Schedule : Tuesday-Friday 9am-1pm
Duties
- Assist housekeeping staff by cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and public spaces with precision and care
- Perform detailed floor care, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to uphold impeccable cleanliness standards
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials in guest rooms and common areas
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks like trash removal, window washing, and surface disinfecting to ensure a spotless environment
- Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, utilizing appropriate equipment for deep cleans of large or heavily used areas
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas and storage closets, ensuring all supplies are organized and accessible
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work or janitorial services within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation for various surfaces
- Familiarity with hotel operations and the importance of hospitality standards in guest service environments
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and management seamlessly
