Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct welding, residential painting, and other repair tasks to maintain property aesthetics and safety standards.
- Oversee facilities maintenance operations including plumbing system repairs, HVAC system servicing, and electrical equipment upkeep.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies.
- Supervise maintenance team members or contractors when necessary to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, schematics interpretation, and compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or staff maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural repairs.
- Proficiency with schematics reading, electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters, and understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting with an eye for detail.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for managing maintenance workflows efficiently.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
- Strong supervisory or leadership experience managing maintenance teams or projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and vendors.
- Valid electrical or mechanical certifications preferred; experience with manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.
