Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical circuits, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct welding, residential painting, and other handyman tasks to maintain the aesthetic and structural integrity of the property
- Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify faults accurately
- Oversee facilities maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Manage maintenance requests efficiently using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and schedules
- Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors when necessary, providing guidance and ensuring quality standards are met
- Assist with manufacturing or large-scale renovation projects within the hotel premises as needed
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and reporting purposes
Skills
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing HVAC systems, plumbing, welding, and general building systems
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals effectively
- Experience in facilities maintenance within hospitality or residential environments
- Excellent customer service skills to address guest or staff concerns professionally
- Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities setting with leadership capabilities
- Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques for aesthetic upkeep of the property
- Proficiency in English for clear communication across teams and documentation purposes
