Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and adherence to cleaning procedures to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including dusting surfaces and cleaning various fixtures
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to ensure effective sanitation
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures consistently across all assigned areas
- Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, furniture, and fixtures within guest rooms
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests professionally and courteously
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to safety standards and hotel policies
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, detergents, and sanitation procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
