Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensuring effective sanitation without compromising safety.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners efficiently to uphold high standards of floor care and industrial cleaning protocols.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or equipment while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines.
• Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures and emergency protocols to respond swiftly to any sanitation or safety concerns.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction are prioritized.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong background in hospitality or custodial services.
• Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods.
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly by understanding SDS instructions and practicing safe chemical handling.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and manual handling activities involved in cleaning operations.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards across all areas.
• Strong communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented attitude to enhance guest experiences.
