Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment including industrial washers, dryers, garment care machines, and dry cleaning units to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments.
- Handle all laundry materials with proper procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry efficiently using push carts and other materials handling tools.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries.
- Maintain sanitation by following established cleaning procedures for all laundry areas and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry detergents, cleaning supplies, and textiles to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to guest requests related to laundry services and garment care.
Requirements
- Prior experience in hotel laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts.
- Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating loads.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
