Duties
- Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to ensure seamless daily functions
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Manage financial activities such as budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of medical records and patient information
- Coordinate with dental providers to optimize practice productivity while maintaining high standards of patient care
- Oversee human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, training, and addressing employee concerns in accordance with healthcare management best practices
- Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Effective and daily communication to owner dentist about office performance is must.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Dental office management or dental office experience with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of healthcare management systems such as Dentrix or Open Dental
- Familiarity with Dental terminology, Dental records management, HIPAA compliance, and Dental administrative support procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff in a healthcare setting
- Excellent organizational skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
