Duties
- Welcome and assist guests during late-night check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless experience using hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS)
- Conduct nightly financial audits to verify revenue accuracy, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports for management
- Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with a friendly attitude, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting property inspections, and managing access control during overnight hours
- Handle phone communication efficiently using proper phone etiquette, providing information or directing calls appropriately
- Document all shift activities through detailed reports on incidents, guest interactions, and operational issues for accountability and future reference
- Support hotel emergency procedures by being prepared to respond swiftly to any safety or security concerns during your shift
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or similar property management software (PMS)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve effectively and communicate clearly with diverse guests and team members
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a broad range of guests and enhance guest relations
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and night audit processes is essential
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during overnight shifts
- Previous experience working in resort settings or with hospitality reservation systems is preferred
