Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, providing outstanding customer service through effective communication and hospitality skills
- Manage overnight check-ins and check-outs efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar hotel reservation platforms
- Monitor and update guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing and financial transactions during the night audit process
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and problem-solving skills
- Conduct routine safety checks, enforce hotel emergency procedures, and ensure compliance with security protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure smooth handovers to morning staff
- Oversee multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, guest requests, and internal communications efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with resort or hotel experience
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest communication and service quality
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest services, and customer service problem-solving techniques
- Excellent communication skills via phone and face-to-face interactions; proficiency in multi-line phone systems is preferred
- Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail
- Previous experience with hospitality reservation systems and hotel management software is advantageous
