The Town of Wellesley Police Department is seeking an experienced Public
Safety Information Technology Specialist/Manager to support the Police &
Fire Department?s mission-critical public safety systems. This position
requires an extensive background check, including the ability to obtain
and maintain a CORI security clearance, and strict confidentiality with
all sensitive information. Responsibilities ? Support and maintain
public safety networks, servers, workstations, printers, and mobile data
systems ? Maintain CAD/RMS systems and other public safety technologies
backups, cybersecurity practices, and technical troubleshooting ?
Coordinate technology needs with internal departments and state/federal
public safety partners ? Provide technical training and assist with
hardware/software procurement Requirements ? Associate?s degree in
computer science or equivalent experience ? 5?7 years of IT experience,
preferably in public safety ? Strong troubleshooting, networking, and
hardware/software support skills ? Experience with Microsoft platforms,
Active Directory, and basic network concepts ? Excellent communication
And Organizational Skills Preferred Experience Active Directory,
Microsoft Server OS, Central Square CAD/RMS, ODBC/Access, Pervasive SQL,
Motorola Evidence Library, Samsara, Axis VMS, Asset Panda
