Under the direct supervision of the Customer Service Representative this position facilitates front line operations at the Berthoud Recreation Center by greeting guests and providing customer service. The Guest Service Representative Lead provides direction and leadership to other part-time Guest Services team members regarding day to day operations. Ideal candidates need to be highly computer literate and have exceptional attention to detail. This position must also process class and activity registrations, sell facility memberships and manage facility/park shelter rental procedures. Hours per week will average 25. Must be 18 or older to apply and be available Monday-Friday, morning or evening and Sundays from 11 am-3:30 pm

Work is generally performed in an office environment but while performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions during program oversight and evaluation.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet but may be loud at times with frequent interruptions and frequent contact with members of the public.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following
- Pavilion and Facility Reservations
- Review incoming emailed reservation requests while on shift
- Contact customers to finalize reservation details and collect payment
- Coordinate reservations for outdoor pavilions, recreation center party room, gym, and private pool rentals
- Submit alcohol permit requests to the town hall when applicable
- Memberships
- Complete Dash tasks including turning off auto-renew and unsuspending memberships
- Carry out sales strategies give by management
- Suspend members whose billing was not processed on the 15th
- Pull monthly past-due reports from Dash and conduct collection calls
- Assist members with billing questions and process payments
- Generate monthly membership cancellation reports and compile excel summaries outlining reasons for cancellations
- Complete monthly collections process for accounts exceeding 60 days, including submission to collection agency, documentation, and account updates
- Staff Training and Leadership
- Provide day-to-day direction and support to Guest Service team members
- Assist with onboarding and training of new staff on Dash and operational procedures
- Support the Customer Service Representative in creating staff engagement initiatives to drive memberships, programs, and event registrations
- Child Watch
- Capable of covering shifts in the child watch area when needed
- Ensure members and non-members are signing in appropriately
- Update the Child Watch report daily by compiling attendance, usage hours, and member vs. non-member participation
- Create a safe and clean environment for participants

- Experience and knowledge of computer operations and use of software packages, including Microsoft office applications.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions.

Certificates And Licenses
- Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License.
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification or acquire after 3 months of hire
- CPRP is preferred
