What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Processing Tech - Per Diem position at Tower Health?
Work Schedule: Fill in 1 or 2 shifts during the week on 1st and 2nd shift; 1 weekend a month 3P-11:30P.
- To fulfill various ancillary functions such as the processing of used surgical instrumentation, assembling and wrapping packs, restocking storage areas and relieving other aides.
- Receive and dispense supplies and equipment. Perform cleaning, assembling, preparation and sterilizing's duties in Central Sterile Processing as directed
Qualifications
Education Requirements
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Minimum 1 - 2 years experience, preferred
Certification and Licensure
- IAHCSMM CERT or CBSPD CERT, Required
