Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an OSP Construction Manager located in Columbia, SC. The OSP Construction Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of outside plant construction projects, including supervising construction teams, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with construction safety standards. Daily tasks will include scheduling, allocating resources, monitoring project progress, resolving issues, and ensuring project completion within budget and timeline. This role will also involve collaboration with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
Qualifications
- Supervisory skills with the ability to lead and manage construction teams effectively
- Strong experience and proficiency in Budgeting and Project Control
- Knowledge of Construction practices and Construction Safety regulations
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and maintain strict project timelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required
