Position: Assistant Project Manager (Field-to-Office Transition)

For over 20 years, TNC has delivered low-voltage and smart-building integration solutions throughout South Florida — specializing in structured cabling, fiber optics, access control, CCTV, and network infrastructure.

We’re expanding and looking for a hands-on professional who’s ready to move from the field into the project management office.

If you’ve led crews, coordinated installs, and want to master scheduling, budgets, and client communication — this is your next step.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Senior PMs in planning, tracking, and executing multiple projects.
  • Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure progress and quality.
  • Prepare and review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation.
  • Manage materials, labor forecasts, and change orders.
  • Communicate effectively between field and office teams.
  • Learn project cost tracking, procurement, and scheduling best practices.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in low voltage, electrical, or structured cabling.
  • Background as a lead tech, foreman, or field supervisor.
  • Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Familiar with drawings, takeoffs, and submittals.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Bonus / Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to federal contracts (VA, GSA, DoD) or Davis-Bacon / Prevailing Wage work.
  • Experience with Procore, Sage, or Accubid.
  • OSHA 10 or BICSI certification.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
