Provides accounting and clerical support to the accounting department for effective handling of financial records and operations. 

Pay range: $20-$25/hr

This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities

Your Role as an Accounts Receivable Specialist

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will:

• Maintains records and files, accounts receivable documentation and miscellaneous filings.
• Performs in a variety of accounts receivable duties, mainly billing and payment application.
• Performs basic audit functions to ensure proper posting to accounts.
• Prepares correspondence to assist in answering inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
• Assists in preparing month-end reporting to include printing various reports and creating spreadsheets.
• Prepares daily and weekly reports. 
• Maintains job costing portal.
• Works with third party financers for compliance and payment application.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, or GED equivalent, and 3-5 years experience in accounting and accounts receivable.
• JD Edwards accounting software experience preferred.
• Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills are required.
• Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products.
