Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems for retail and commercial customers. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-focused, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R equipment
- Perform installations, replacements, and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot equipment and identify repair or replacement recommendations
- Service HVAC systems ranging from 1 to 50 tons
- Work with refrigeration systems, boilers, electrical components, and controls
- Complete work efficiently and in compliance with company and industry standards
- Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and job sites clean and organized
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members
- Participate in on-call, overtime, weekend, and holiday rotations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of commercial HVAC/R experience
- Graduate of an accredited HVAC technical training program
- EPA Universal Certification (Required)
- Strong knowledge of: Commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, boilers, electrical troubleshooting, and controls systems
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely use diagnostic equipment, meters, gauges, and hand tools
- Must provide personal hand tools, meters, and gauges
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Capable of climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, crawling, reaching, and lifting as required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working in commercial and retail environments
