Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive plumbing inspections using cameras and schematics to identify issues within residential water systems.
- Repair and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and related components, ensuring compliance with local building codes.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute installation and repair tasks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Conduct remodeling and assembly tasks involving plumbing components as part of larger construction or renovation projects.
- Diagnose mechanical problems within HVAC systems that impact plumbing or water flow; implement effective solutions.
- Adhere to safety protocols during heavy lifting, construction site activities, and when operating construction plumbing equipment.
Skills
- Proven construction experience with a focus on construction plumbing and site activities.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of water systems, schematics, and blueprint reading.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment.
- Familiarity with local building codes, plumbing system maintenance and repair standards, and remodeling practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for installation or troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience with carpentry, handyman tasks, assembly work, and general construction site experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems related to plumbing or water flow is a plus; valid commercial driving license may be preferred for travel between sites.
