You will collaborate on the creation of wind tunnel models integral for aerospace research and development. - Design wind tunnel models and mechanical components for aerospace research and development.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Support the design and development of aerospace and aircraft-related hardware.
- Assist with structural analysis and design validation efforts.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure practical, accurate, and manufacturable designs.
- Contribute to a fast-paced engineering environment focused on precision and performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical design engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in 3D CAD modeling.
- Proficiency with Siemens NX or similar 3D CAD software.
- Preferred experience in aerospace or aircraft design.
- Preferred experience in structural analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering preferred.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required due to export control / ITAR requirements.
- Active DoD clearance is a plus.
