TORQ Coatings is a fast-growing concrete coatings company serving the Chicagoland market and expanding throughout the Midwest. We specialize in premium polyurea and polyaspartic floor coating systems for residential and commercial spaces while delivering a high-level customer experience from start to finish.
We are building a sales and marketing organization focused on growth, branding, customer experience, and performance. We are looking for a Marketing Manager who wants to help build something special and grow alongside the company.
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager will oversee the execution of the company’s marketing initiatives while helping scale the infrastructure needed for long-term growth.
This role requires someone who is highly organized, numbers-driven, creative, and capable of balancing strategy with execution. You will work directly with leadership, marketing partners, agencies, vendors, interns, and internal teams to improve lead generation, customer acquisition, branding, and overall marketing performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys moving fast, solving problems, managing people, and building systems that scale.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Lead Generation
* Help manage and improve lead generation efforts across:
* Facebook & Instagram
* Google Ads
* YouTube
* TikTok
* SEO
* Direct mail
* Events & grassroots marketing
* Track and improve:
* Cost Per Lead (CPL)
* Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
* Booking rate
* Lead-to-sale conversion
* Overall marketing ROI
* Build and review weekly and monthly KPI scorecards and dashboards
* Assist leadership with marketing strategy and campaign execution
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
* Manage marketing interns, coordinators, and support team members
* Work directly with outside marketing agencies, media buyers, content creators, and strategic partners
* Help organize priorities, campaigns, deadlines, and marketing calendars
* Hold vendors and marketing partners accountable to performance goals and deliverables
* Assist in building a strong marketing culture focused on growth, accountability, and execution
Branding & Content
* Coordinate and organize:
* Social media content
* Before & after project photos/videos
* Customer testimonials
* Recruiting content
* Ad creatives
* Long-form and short-form video content
* Maintain brand consistency across all channels
* Help execute seasonal promotions and marketing campaigns
CRM, Automation & Systems
* Assist with CRM workflows and lead management systems
* Improve speed-to-lead processes
* Work with AI tools, automations, and integrations
* Help improve customer communication and follow-up systems
Qualifications
* 3–5 years of marketing experience preferred
* Leadership or team management experience strongly preferred
* Home improvement or home services experience is a plus
* Strong understanding of digital marketing and lead generation
* Comfortable working with numbers, analytics, and reporting
* Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automations
* Must be willing to embrace AI and modern marketing tools
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Self-motivated and highly accountable
