Payroll Administrator

Commercial real estate/property management company is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their New York team. This is a great opportunity to get experience in the payroll field with a company that has a variety of portfolios. Position will work on-site at the New York city office. This person will work with the accounting team to complete payroll. Position is temporary with potential for hire.

Duties Include:

• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding tasks
• Timely process bi-weekly payroll and submit supporting payroll reports
• Review timecards for approvals and accuracy
• Communicating time and reporting policies and procedures to employees
• Manage ADP reports and submission compliance
• Processing both union and non-union payroll
• Research and answer employee questions regarding payroll, timecards, and benefits
• Coding and processing invoices
• Draft personnel announcements
• Managing additional documents and filings
• Preparing monthly reports
• Review and present reports to management

Desired Skills:

• Seeking candidates with at least 5 years payroll experience
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance a plus
• Experience with ADP, Workday, and Yardi a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
