Role Description The Director of Training is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for drivers, operations staff, and other team members to ensure safety, compliance, and service excellence. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and updating training curricula, scheduling and conducting training sessions, coordinating onboarding programs, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company standards. The Director of Training will monitor training outcomes, track performance metrics, and continuously improve programs based on feedback, audits, and operational needs. This role also collaborates closely with leadership, safety, HR, and operations teams to align training initiatives with organizational goals and culture.

Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Training & Development and Training, including designing and delivering programs for diverse employee groups.
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development and Employee Training, with the ability to create structured, engaging, and compliance-focused learning content.
- Experience with Budgeting for training programs, including resource planning, vendor management, and cost optimization.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or related industries, with a solid understanding of safety and regulatory requirements (e.g., DOT, FMCSA) preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills in a professional setting; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to analyze training data, assess competency gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
