About the Role
The HR Business Partner, Midwest serves as a strategic partner to Operations leadership by aligning people strategies with business objectives. This field-based role focuses on talent development, employee relations, workforce planning, leadership coaching, performance management, and HR operations across multiple locations. The HR Business Partner works closely with operational leaders to improve employee retention, strengthen leadership capability, and drive business performance through effective people management.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of HR Business Partner or Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Experience supporting multi-site or field-based operations.
- Strong employee relations experience, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Experience partnering with operational leaders and influencing business decisions.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Experience using HR data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Leadership assessment or leadership development experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel regularly within Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin, including 25–40% overnight travel.
