About the Role

The Remote Customer Service Representative – Product Testing is responsible for participating in product testing assignments, evaluating products in a home environment, documenting user experiences, and providing accurate feedback to support market research and product development initiatives. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow detailed testing instructions while working independently.

Key Responsibilities

Product Testing & Evaluation

• Participate in assigned In-Home Usage Testing (IHUT) projects.
• Evaluate products based on detailed testing guidelines and schedules.
• Use products responsibly while maintaining their quality and condition.
• Assess product functionality, usability, and overall customer experience.
• Complete testing assignments within designated project timelines.

Customer Feedback & Documentation

• Maintain detailed records of product usage and testing experiences.
• Document observations through written journals, screenshots, photographs, videos, or audio recordings as required.
• Prepare objective, accurate, and constructive product reviews.
• Provide honest feedback regarding product quality and performance.
• Submit all required documentation according to project guidelines.

Consumer Research Participation

• Complete questionnaires and consumer surveys related to testing projects.
• Participate in research panels and product evaluation activities.
• Join online discussions or private research groups when required.
• Share valuable insights that contribute to product development decisions.
• Support market research initiatives through accurate consumer feedback.

Project Compliance

• Read and follow all testing instructions carefully.
• Adhere to project schedules and assigned testing activities.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding products and research activities.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
• Comply with company policies and research requirements.

Communication & Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with project coordinators and research teams.
• Respond promptly to project-related communications.
• Seek clarification when testing instructions require additional explanation.
• Maintain professional interactions throughout each assignment.
• Support successful completion of research projects.

Technology & Reporting

• Utilize computers, smartphones, and digital platforms to complete assignments.
• Upload required testing documentation through designated systems.
• Maintain reliable internet connectivity for remote participation.
• Ensure submitted reports are accurate, complete, and timely.
• Support digital reporting and online research activities.

Qualifications

Required

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable computer with internet access.
• Access to a smartphone or digital camera capable of taking photographs.
