About the Team
The Finance team partners closely with leadership across the organization to deliver accurate financial reporting, support strategic decision-making, and maintain strong financial controls. Working in a collaborative environment, the team focuses on operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
We are seeking a Corporate Accountant to support the organization's accounting operations and financial reporting. In this role, you will maintain the integrity of the general ledger, support month-end and year-end close processes, prepare financial reports, perform reconciliations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial insights that support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Complete balance sheet and account reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger across corporate entities.
- Prepare financial statements and internal management reports.
- Perform variance analysis and investigate financial discrepancies.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support organizational decision-making.
- Assist with external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal accounting policies.
- Maintain accounting procedures and process documentation.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide backup support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Three to seven years of corporate accounting experience with full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
- Experience supporting external audits is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
- Experience with ERP systems is required; Sage Intacct experience is preferred.
- CPA certification or active progress toward CPA licensure is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
