About Us:
Topsail Hill Park Services, in partnership with Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, provides top-tier visitor services, including reservations for glamping accommodations, equipment rentals, and park amenities. We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Reservationist & Cashier to assist guests with bookings and provide excellent customer service at our camp store.
Job Responsibilities:
Reservationist:
- Handle guest reservations for glamping accommodations, equipment rentals, and tours via phone and in-person interactions.
- Provide accurate and detailed information to guests about availability, park amenities, and reservation policies.
- Manage the reservation system, inputting new bookings and updating changes or cancellations in a timely manner.
- Assist guests with any questions regarding park rules, accommodations, and special requests.
Cashier:
- Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system at the camp store, handling sales of merchandise, food, beverages, and other items.
- Accurately process payments, including cash, credit cards, and gift certificates.
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store and café area.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service, answering questions and assisting guests with their purchases.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in reservations, retail, or cashier roles (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work efficiently with reservation systems and POS software (training will be provided).
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and passion for providing excellent guest experiences.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
