Position Summary
The Packer III is a key leadership and support role within the Finishing department. This position is responsible for performing all tasks associated with Packer I and Packer II roles, while also serving as a trainer, quality partner, and process leader. The Packer III supports production efficiency, quality performance, and team development while ensuring safety and continuous improvement standards are met across all shifts.

The Packer III will perform all daily tasks of Packer I & II, plus:
- Train all packers—new and existing—to ensure a full understanding of all Finishing department processes.
- Provide flexibility to conduct training on all shifts when needed.
- Support the development of packing team members through education, coaching, training, and teamwork.
- Provide leadership in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Lead housekeeping and 5S activities in the Finishing area.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Quality Technicians regarding quality issues related to packaging processes; assist in root-cause analysis and corrective action development.
- Assign positions and roles for the line and set production speeds as needed to support efficiency and quality standards.

- 2 years of experience in packaging with strong knowledge of print quality standards.
- Demonstrated superior quality performance and understanding.
- Strong ability to motivate others through involvement, coaching, and positive reinforcement.
- A “raise the bar” mindset—continuously pushes expectations higher through leadership and example.
