Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager & Presales Engineer to join the Projects & solutions Team. This high-level role oversees new client onboardings and major project execution while also working alongside our sales team to scope and design IT solutions for prospective clients.

Location: Lakewood, NJ

Reports To: IT Director

Schedule: Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD/Annually

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of IT projects for new and existing clients, from scoping through execution.

• Lead internal project engineers and oversee timelines, deliverables, and quality of work.

• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure project success.

• Own documentation, scheduling, and task assignment across multiple simultaneous projects.

• Serve as the technical lead during the sales process to help scope, design, and present solutions.

• Evaluate client environments and translate business needs into technical project plans.

• Write or contribute to statements of work (SOWs), infrastructure diagrams, and proposals

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as a senior-level IT engineer (MSP experience strongly preferred).

• 2 years of experience managing IT projects or leading technical implementation efforts.

• Experience designing and executing Microsoft 365 and Azure-based solutions.

• Familiarity with Intune, AVD, DNS, and server infrastructure.

• Strong interpersonal skills (communication, active listening, customer care).

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Desire to grow.

Compensation

The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today’s market. The salary range for this position is a good faith estimate that allows for flexibility to align with various levels of experience, education, and performance.
