Now Hiring: Lead Luxury Residential AV Technician – Seattle, WA
We’re seeking an experienced Lead Residential AV Technician to support and lead high-end home automation and home theater projects throughout the Seattle area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes pride in craftsmanship, system performance, and client experience.
- Washington State 06 Low Voltage License is REQUIRED
Key Responsibilities
- Lead luxury residential AV and home automation installations from rough-in through final commissioning
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot systems including home theaters, distributed audio/video, lighting control, networking, and control systems
- Oversee on-site installation quality, jobsite coordination, and adherence to project standards
- Perform rack builds, equipment termination, device programming support, and system testing
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during installation and service calls
- Mentor and guide junior technicians while coordinating closely with project managers and clients
- Deliver white-glove client walkthroughs and system handoffs
Qualifications
- Active Washington State 06 Low Voltage License (Required)
- Proven experience in luxury residential AV and home automation
- Strong hands-on installation skills across AV, networking, and control systems
- Ability to read plans, follow scopes of work, and manage field execution
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills
- Professional, client-facing demeanor
