Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. We are a shop in Snohomish that has a built in customer base from a prior 20 year motorsports business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on a variety of vehicles, primarily European, Japanese, and performance/restoration vehicles. We have an in-house machine shop that rebuilds engines, transmissions, and differentials for our automotive and motorsports customers.
Experience working on BMW's, Porsche's, and Mercedes is preferred since those are our highest car count manufacturers. Classic vehicle knowledge would also be beneficial to our team working on restorations and resto-mod builds.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle conditions accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Assist in auto estimating for repair costs and timelines.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications on vehicles.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to automotive repair.
- Strong understanding of auto estimating processes and techniques.
- Experience with ADAS technology is a plus.
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality in repairs and customer service.
- Familiarity with dealership environments is beneficial but not required.
- Solid mechanical skills with a focus on European vehicles preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
