Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all operations within the Case Management department, ensuring alignment with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Manage departmental resources to ensure financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Foster staff development, engagement, and ongoing education to ensure high-quality care and compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and meet organizational goals.
- Monitor and maintain regulatory compliance and standards of care.
- Maintain open communication with staff, leadership, and external partners to drive departmental effectiveness.
- Flexibility for scheduling based on operational needs, including potential for holidays, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Healthcare Management preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of nursing experience.
- At least 3 years of Utilization Review and Case Management experience.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Active RN license in New Mexico or a compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Preferred:
- Certification in Case Management (CCM or ACM) is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
