We are seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of real estate properties. This role will manage day-to-day accounting activities, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting while partnering with property management and internal teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPANY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Manage month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Review property-level financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with third-party property managers on financial reporting.
- Manage intercompany transactions and account analysis.
- Prepare financial analyses and reports as needed.
- Support external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with accounting activities related to property acquisitions and dispositions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 5 years of real estate or property accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with real estate accounting or property management systems preferred.
- CPA is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
