Property Accountant - King of Prussia, PA
A growing real estate organization is seeking a Property Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with property operations while supporting financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and day-to-day accounting activities across a real estate portfolio.
Compensation: $70,000-85,000 bonus & benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations
- Perform variance analysis and support monthly financial reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and budget-to-actual analysis
- Maintain property accounting records and tenant/vendor data within the property management system
- Partner with property management teams to ensure accurate tenant billing and financial reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Property management or real estate accounting experience required
- Experience with MRI, Yardi, Entrata, and/or QuickBooks preferred
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- On-site 5 days/week
