Job Title: Armed Security Officer (Open Availability)

Job Summary: We are seeking professional and dependable Armed Security Officers who have fully open availability and a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets while maintaining a visible and proactive security presence. This role requires individuals who are comfortable using technology, can adapt to various environments, and provide exceptional service to clients and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide armed security services to assigned locations
• Patrol designated areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure safety and security
• Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and access control systems
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and local laws/regulations
• Write detailed and accurate incident and activity reports
• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting clients, employees, and visitors
• De-escalate conflicts in a professional and calm manner
• Maintain situational awareness and report suspicious activities

Requirements:

• Active Armed Security License (state-specific)
• Must have fully open availability (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
• Customer service experience required
• Comfortable using technology (computers, mobile devices, reporting software, surveillance systems)
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various job sites if needed
• High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience
• Experience with access control systems and security technology
• CPR/First Aid certification

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 25–50 pounds if required

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Must be flexible and available for all shifts
