Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, verify age/ID, and create a welcoming, judgment-free environment
- Educate guests on strains, terpenes, dosage, etc
- Recommend products confidently and tailor to customer needs
- Be knowledgeable about and comply with NYS compliance requirements
- Accurately process transactions through point-of-sale (POS) system
Required Skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail role (in cannabis industry is a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while following compliance procedures and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Desired Skills
- Prior experience in cannabis retail or budtending
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Passion for cannabis education and commitment to exceptional customer service
- Interest in cross training for inventory/fulfillment/back-of-office roles
