Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food safety and quality compliance on the production floor
- Conduct and document environmental monitoring, sanitation verification, and product testing
- Verify temperatures, weights, packaging integrity, and label accuracy
- Review and maintain HACCP records, production logs, sanitation documentation, and traceability records
- Identify food safety hazards, contamination risks, and procedural violations
- Enforce compliance with GMPs, allergen controls, and sanitation standards
- Address non-compliant behavior immediately and hold staff accountable
- Escalate serious food safety issues to management when necessary
- Help strengthen and maintain a culture of food safety and quality throughout the facility
Requirements
- Experience in food manufacturing quality control, food safety, or QA
- Strong knowledge of GMPs and food safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Comfortable correcting staff and enforcing procedures
- Ability to work both on the production floor and with quality record
