Who We Are
We are a collaborative group within the Aerospace Mechanics Research Center (AMReC) at CU Boulder, engaged in sponsored research on composite analysis and data analytics projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews on degradation of polymer and polymer matrix composites.
- Develop and implement random generator algorithms for composite microstructures with varying void fractions.
- Perform finite element simulations of fiber-reinforced composites under large deformations.
- Analyze and interpret simulation results to assess material behavior.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate research outcomes.
- Strong background in continuum mechanics and finite element analysis.
- This appointment cannot sponsor J1 or H-1B visas.
- Temporary positions at CU are not benefits-eligible but include paid sick leave.
