The Toosizadeh Lab is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to work on translational research projects at the intersection of biomechanics, machine learning, exergaming, and mobile health technologies. This position offers an opportunity to develop and validate models for wearable sensors to improve human movement, rehabilitation, and fitness engagement.
The candidate will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team across engineering, medicine, and science. They must lead independent research projects, work with clinical collaborators, mentor students, and publish high-quality research annually.

- Conduct research in aging, balance, fall rehabilitation, app development, and biomechanics
- Perform data post-processing
- Program using MATLAB, Python, and Java/Kotlin (for Android)
- Publish journal articles and present research at national and international conferences
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate students
- Adhere to Rutgers’ compliance standards and corporate conduct policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Minimum: $20,000
- Mid Range: $90,000
- Maximum: $200,000
