Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for the Behavioral Research and Training Institute (BRTI)– Center for Integrated Care within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care.
The primary purpose of the Postdoctoral Associate is to be responsible for research and clinical activities with the Behavioral Research and Training Institute.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Conceptualizes, designs and implements research and program evaluation projects in support of the lab’s mission.
- Based on a thorough knowledge of the field and the research literature, identifies research projects that would contribute to increasing the body of knowledge related to integrated behavioral health, addiction, psychology.
- Translates research ideas into concrete, specific and implementable research projects that meet the standards of scientific inquiry and that comport with University requirements.
- Assists the AVP in the preparation of research proposals to obtain grant support from federal, state and local units of government, as well as foundations.
- Provides technical assistance to research lab based on needs assessment and data collection.
- Under the supervision of the AVP, manages and coordinates research projects.
- Prepares manuscripts summarizing the center’s research projects for submission to professional journals and publications.
