This role combines clinical care, teaching, research, and administrative responsibilities. The candidate will work closely with neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, neuropathologists, and neuroradiologists to provide state-of-the-art, patient-centered care and access to clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acute and chronic inpatient and outpatient neuro-oncology care, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and health maintenance.
- Conduct inpatient consultations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate and lead clinical trials; maintain required research training.
- Supervise and teach medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers.
- Contribute to departmental committees, educational events, and administrative projects.
- Attend ongoing CME and support multidisciplinary team development.
- Assistant Professor: MD or DO, completed fellowship or experience in Neuro-Oncology, CO medical and DEA license, eligible or board-certified in Neuro-Oncology.
- Associate Professor: Same as above, plus record of ongoing research, funding, and scholarly work appropriate for appointment at this rank.
- Professor: Same as above, with significant research activity, funding, and academic accomplishments consistent with Professor level.
